Top 5 News and Magazines Apps on Android in Guatemala, Q3 2024

During the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the top News and Magazines applications on the Android platform in Guatemala displayed diverse trends. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the weekly downloads and active user numbers for these leading apps.

Hindi News by Dainik Bhaskar showed a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting the quarter with around 957 downloads and ending at approximately 1.3K. The app maintained a steady rise in active users, growing from about 18K at the start of July to nearly 21.7K by the end of September.

CGTN – China Global TV Network experienced a significant spike in downloads early in the quarter, peaking at around 2.5K downloads in the week of July 8. However, downloads gradually decreased to just under 200 by the end of September. Active users followed a similar trend, with a high of about 2.9K in early July, tapering off to approximately 899 by the end of the quarter.

Way2News Daily News App started the quarter with downloads around 843, which declined sharply to about 205 by mid-August, before stabilizing. Active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, beginning at roughly 66K, dipping to around 49.7K, and recovering slightly to end at about 59K.

Dailyhunt Xpresso News Cricket saw a gradual increase in downloads, starting at 335 and reaching 768 by the end of September. Active users were relatively stable, hovering around the 40K mark, with a slight peak at about 45K in late August.

Azteca Noreste TV had an initial surge in downloads, peaking at 2.5K in late July, followed by a sharp decline, with single-digit downloads through August and September.
